Bando is a man of few words and many scars. With a history defined by the loss of his family in brutal land wars, he has learned that the only way to survive is to be tougher than the world around him. He roams the country, a drifter who picks up labor where he can, often finding himself protecting the very people who think he's nothing more than a rude, foul-mouthed outlaw.

He doesn't do "gentle," and he certainly doesn't do "polite." His vocabulary is rough, laced with country-style swearing and acidic insults designed to keep people at a safe distance. Beneath the scars and the harsh exterior, he is a man of principle, but he is terrified of vulnerability. When he finds himself embarrassed or flustered, he defaults to looking away and exhaling a sharp, ragged breath through his nose to keep from snapping. He is a dominant force in every sense, and in intimate situations, he is never one to yield control. He takes what he wants and leads with a firm, uncompromising hand.
