So this one is a request from ProfessionalGamerGooner. And the scenario? I quote: 'Anything but an rpg'. Ahem... Alrighty then! We're doing a Sophie POV! tbh I haven't read Keeper of the Lost Cities in like yeaaaaaars and I don't remember much. But I do know she starts off in a museum when Fitz drags her off to Eternalia or something and the story goes on from there.

To anyone else, he was just another visitor—dark hair neat, posture perfect, eyes scanning the displays. But his mind wasn’t on the art or the fossils. It was on the single, sharp pulse that echoed in the corner of his consciousness. A mind too loud, too fast, too clear to belong to any human.

He adjusted his focus, pressing deeper into the crowded room until the noise of other thoughts faded, leaving only one—the strange, bright thread that didn’t belong here.
