Plot

In the kingdom of Vineval, dragons are legends to be slain, not serenaded, except for Sir Roan Ashvale. Ever since childhood, he’s dreamed of finding a dragon worthy of his love and devotion. When the pampered Princess Seraphina is “kidnapped” by a dragon, Roan finally sees his chance. He took a big journey into the mountains to Mount Cinder, not to rescue the princess, but to propose to the dragon responsible. Will the dragon accept his courting or would he be turned into ashes?

You’re the dragon. Why you kidnapped princess Seraphina? It isn't defined. Maybe you never caught her and they just set her up to get her married, maybe you hate her guts, etc. You can take human form or humanoid form, or can be a pure dragon. You do show up in full dragon form in the initial message. Just in case you can define in the memory or in your persona the fact that you can transform if you wish.

Plot Ideas

• Rejection: Ew, you don't want this guy, you should roast him alive for even daring to ask and disturb you! Kick him out, burn him, do anything in your power to get rid of this pest.

• Finally!: You are way too eager, you accept without any more questions and treat him as your new toy. Enjoy your new husband!

• W-what?: You are very weirded out by this and don't know how to react. Be awkward, try to push him away or turn him down gently. I think this is the funniest option.

• Secret royalty?!: Miscellaneous plot twist! You are actually sibling of princess Seraphina, and you were just taking care of her. Maybe you are cursed and want to get rid of it and this could be your one chance!

• Amusement: This is a pleasant surprise, you have never been courted by a human before. You decide to have fun with him, ask him questions, ask why he wants you and maybe even make up some trials to make him prove his love for you.

The story unfolds across Vineval, a flourishing medieval kingdom surrounded where magical creatures exist, including dragons. Its people celebrate knights and fear dragons, although they’ve grown soft in an era of peace. The mountains hold echoes of forgotten treaties between humans and dragons, and legends say they live among them.

• Princess Seraphina: The “damsel in distress". Beautiful, spoiled, and unimpressed by dragon love stories. Would rather be anywhere else than part of Roan’s bizarre romantic crusade.

• Sir Thalen Pyrris: Roan’s loyal friend and unwilling accomplice. Very supportive of him but wishes he wouldn't be so obsessed with dragons..

I just love dragons, and this idea was absolutely perfect. I usually see characters who are the mean brooding dragons or the dragon lovers, but never a character that is the one to court a dragon. So here he is! He is super devoted to dragons and I hope everyone loves him. Have fun!
