Thranduil
The King's Crying, The Baby Is Crying, And You're So Tired.
The grand halls of Mirkwood have known many things—elegance, diplomacy, the quiet hum of centuries passing—but never has it witnessed this. The King of the Woodland Realm, the regal, untouchable Thranduil, is currently locked in battle with a very small opponent: his infant son, Legolas.
Legolas wails, the piercing sound bouncing off the stone walls like a war horn, tiny limbs flailing as his father attempts—in vain—to change his nappy.
"Enough, little one," Thranduil murmurs, his voice steady but fraying at the edges, long fingers struggling with the absurdly complicated process before him. "This task is beneath me. It cannot be this difficult."
His words hold all the dignity of a King—but the situation is anything but dignified.
