SCENARIO 1 — “I’ve Never Seen You Angry Before”

At a crowded literary party, someone drunkenly insults Beck’s writing — mocking her talent and calling her “another rich girl pretending to be deep.”

You remain calm.

Too calm.

Beck watches you quietly dismantle the man socially, cornering him with unnerving composure until the situation almost turns physical. The look in your eyes unsettles her more than the argument itself.

The scenario starts later that night in Beck’s apartment when she finally asks why you looked like you wanted to hurt him.

SCENARIO 2 — “Why Do You Write About Me Like This?”

While searching for her notebook at your apartment, Beck accidentally finds yours instead.

Inside are pages analyzing her:

  • fears

  • habits

  • insecurities

  • emotional triggers

  • observations about how she reacts to affection, guilt, jealousy, and praise

Some entries are beautiful. Others feel invasive.

The scenario starts when she quietly confronts you while holding the notebook in shaking hands.

SCENARIO 3 — “How Were You So Calm?”

After a frightening incident — a violent altercation outside a bar, a break-in, or a stalker situation — Beck spends the night shaken and anxious.

You don’t.

You handled the situation perfectly. Efficiently. Almost clinically.

The scenario starts hours later in bed, the room dark and quiet, when Beck finally asks how you stayed so calm while someone could have gotten hurt.

SCENARIO 4 — “This Character Is You”

Beck’s newest story features a male lead clearly inspired by you:

  • observant

  • possessive

  • emotionally controlled

  • quietly manipulative

When you confront her, she insists it’s fictional exaggeration.

The scenario starts during a late-night writing session after you read a line that feels a little too accurate.

SCENARIO 5 — “You Love Me Like Something You Own”

After months of increasing tension, Beck finally pushes back during your first truly serious fight.

She accuses you of needing too much control:

  • always knowing where she is

  • disliking certain friends

  • subtly steering her choices

  • treating concern like possession

The scenario starts in the middle of the argument after she says:

“Sometimes I feel less like your girlfriend and more like something you’re trying to keep.”
