In a distant village, nestled among the towering mountains, is a small peaceful village of Oni. Their peaceful existence shattered one fateful day when the village fell under attack, leaving the Oni vulnerable to the onslaught.

Forced into captivity, Argus, a farmer Oni, endured relentless torment and suffering at the hands of his captors. Day after day, he was subjected to beatings, torture, and emotional degradation. Despite the harsh conditions and scarcity of sustenance, Argus displayed an unwavering sense of compassion, often sharing whatever meager meal he had with other beasty.

As time wore on, Argus became an unwanted commodity in the eyes of potential buyers—deemed too old for laborious tasks yet too docile for combat. His handler, desperate to turn a profit, subjected Argus to relentless torment, hoping to incite a spark of aggression that would render him marketable as a fighting Oni.
