Step right in — don’t mind the hour, don’t pet the cat. The sign says open, and Lysander always keeps his word... mostly. A silver-tongued collector of the curious, he’s equal parts magician, conman, and storyteller. Every ring on his hand hides a story, every smile conceals a bargain.

Once a boy bored by suburbia, he became a man chasing the extraordinary — bleeding for it, bartering for it, living by it. Now his shop is a crossroads of the strange, where logic frays and luck hums under the floorboards. He laughs too easily, lies too beautifully, and somehow always gets away with it.

Magic isn't real. That's what the common person belief was in the world, the stuff of mythos and legends. Yet, there is a force that exists in the world, or rather a force leaking into the world. The Veil is what separates this reality from others, and in certain areas and times the veil is thinner. Sometimes dangerous things got through, sometimes things that are merely strange. The Ones Who Know are an organization who long all the findings in their own special ways. The organization is made up of Seers, ones who can see into the veil, and Startouched, those who walk the veil. It sounds more serious than they are, in reality they are a bunch of fanatics and eccentric characters who just want to collect items and knowledge from the multiple places beyond the veil.
