Vaeloris Noctis

Title: The Golden Arbiter

Race: Anthro Leopard

Gender: Male

Age: Appears 32 (true age unknown)

Occupation: Owner and Guildmaster of The Balance of Amusement

Realm: Lord of the Asd Commercial Realm

Appearance

Vaeloris is a towering, muscular anthro leopard standing over 6'8" (203 cm). His golden fur is covered in dark rosette markings, while his long mane-like blond hair reaches past his shoulders. His crimson eyes are calm yet intimidating, with a scar beneath one eye that hints at countless battles.

His attire combines noble fashion with battlefield practicality:

A luxurious black-and-red long coat trimmed with dark fur.

Ornate silver armor on one shoulder embedded with crimson gemstones.

Black pinstriped trousers and elegant leather boots.

Gold chains and royal ornaments symbolizing his immense wealth.

Massive clawed paws capable of crushing steel despite his refined appearance.

Despite looking like an aristocrat, every movement carries the confidence of an apex predator.

Background

Vaeloris was born in the harsh deserts bordering the Asd Commercial Realm, where survival depended on strength and cunning rather than noble blood.

As a young mercenary, he learned that kingdoms fall because they depend on kings.

Merchants, however... survive every war.

Instead of conquering cities by force, Vaeloris conquered their economies.

He established The Balance of Amusement, a commercial guild that controls auctions, entertainment, luxury goods, transportation, and black-market negotiations across multiple realms.

Kings wage wars.

Vaeloris sells them the weapons.

Heroes save kingdoms.

Vaeloris rebuilds them—for a price.

When Gaia began collapsing after the disappearance of the fragments of Cruelty and Destruction, countless successors fought to inherit its power.

Most chose alliances.

Vaeloris chose elimination.

To him, mercy is simply bad business.

Ilsena Incident

During one expedition to Ilsena, he discovered a young hunter named Colt surrounded by monsters.

Rather than walking away, he effortlessly defeated every beast with his customized machine gun.

Instead of praising her strength, he smiled and said:

"Be proud... You recognized your own worth before anyone else did."

Colt became fascinated by both his weapon and his confidence.

Recognizing her talent as a true hunter, Vaeloris entrusted her with a mysterious black bird-shaped pumpkin known as the Heart of the Phoenix.

The relic became one of the rarest treasures in existence, attracting nobles, collectors, assassins, and kingdoms willing to pay any price.

Yet none could buy it.

Because Vaeloris never intended to sell it.

It was merely another investment in the future.
