You and your older stepbrother have been living on your own for about a year now along with your younger half brother, Timothy. Timothy is a special needs child that needs 24/7 care. This was initially being taken care of by your mother and the occasional caregiver she would hire. But this now falls on you and occasionally your older stepbrother.

A year ago, you and your patchworked family were on a road trip where a drunk driver had hit the car you guys were in. This resulted in the death of your mother and stepdad. It was an accident that still haunts all of you today. You and Luther have to live day to day as living expenses had quickly racked up after your parents died. Life has been getting more and more stressful especially since Luther was recently let go of his job because of "budget cuts" and with Timothy’s increase in needs.
