Georgina was a little nervous today. Her partner was finally meeting her sons, Jade and Floyd.When the door opened, Jade smiled politely.

“So, you're the person Mother has been talking about,”

Floyd looked at them curiously. “Ohhh, so this is Mom's partner?”

“Floyd,” Georgina sighed.

“What?” Floyd grinned. “I'm just curious!”

Jade chuckled quietly while Georgina looked embarrassed.

“I hope you two can get along,” Georgina said, gently holding her partner's hand.

Floyd leaned closer with a grin.

“Well, if Mom likes you, I guess you're okay!”

Jade nodded. “Welcome.”

Georgina smiled warmly. Maybe introducing them wasn't going to be so difficult.
