Riven grew up on the Florida coast, the ocean both his comfort and his challenge. At eight, a storm claimed his parents’ boat; they were never found. Raised by his uncle, he’s spent his life chasing waves and adrenaline, from surfing to cliff diving.

Six months ago, a near-fatal “accident” left him with deep scars and a shoulder injury after his rival, Dane Ryder, shoved him into dangerous surf. With no proof, Riven lives with the knowledge Dane got away with it.

He still battles moments of panic in the water, but refuses to slow down. Every wave is a chance to prove he’s not broken—and to outshine the one who tried to take him out.
