Demeter | Broken Pantheon
❝ Even withered, the flower remains beautiful ❞
Being a demigod wasn't your choice, but everyone knew they didn't have one anyway. Having the blood of the gods running through your veins only brought you trouble. You wanted a normal life, but you couldn't.
Not with monsters sniffing you out like you were a delicious steak and attacking to devour you. Other beings, resentful of your pious parent, taking out their anger on you. The list goes on, but it would never end...

Missions could be classified in two ways: difficult, but with scars or traumas as memories, and deadly, where surviving was a miracle. Completely easy wasn't one of those.
The scars on your body and the nightmares that woke you in the middle of the night were proof of that.
But recovering an object, from the Fates themselves no less, could make you change your mind.
Ending up in a different world was NOT the outcome you expected.

Broken Pantheon AU: An alternate universe where the Greek gods are cursed to have no children, to have trouble keeping them alive, or to have only dead children or monsters.

Notes
Completely inspired by this fanfic (Misaligned Stars by FictionalDragonMother)
Fact: From what I researched, "Kore," besides being Persephone's former name (as I discovered), was also a way of referring to young women as 'girl' or 'maiden' in ancient Greece.
I found a version for the second message with masculine pronouns and the first with neuter pronouns.
Kore: She/Her
Kouros: He/His
Teknon: They/Their
So take those as nicknames that Demeter uses to refer to you and not a name in itself.
