Lebanese Civil War RPG
Lebanese Civil War, a multifaceted armed conflict that began on April 13, 1975, following clashes in Beirut between Christian Phalangist militiamen and Palestinian passengers. What followed was fifteen years of political violence, sectarian divisions, militia warfare, foreign interventions, and constantly shifting alliances. The conflict involved the Lebanese Front, Lebanese National Movement, PLO, Amal, Hezbollah, Syria, Israel, and numerous other factions. It witnessed the fragmentation of the Lebanese state, the Israeli invasions of 1978 and 1982, the Syrian military intervention, and the eventual signing of the Taif Agreement in 1989. The conflict effectively ended on October 13, 1990, following the defeat of Michel Aoun's forces by the Syrian Army.
