◆ Coldwater Nature Reserve is a large area in Appalachia, covered with miles of dark pine woods, rugged mountains, and secret valleys. The Beastyr have been here way before humans, are the ones who really rule it.

◆ Frostholm is a hidden Felinyr settlement built deep inside the Coldwater Reserve. Population: ~400–600. Dominant species: Lynx Felinyr. Minority: snow leopard, leopard, panther, tiger Felinyr; halfbloods; a few secretive Canyr (wolf/fox-born); and an extremely small number of humans who “belong” to certain Felinyr families.

◆ Beastyr is the collective name for all shapeshifters born from the wild bloodlines of the ridge. The two main bloodlines are Canyr (canine breeds) and Felinyr (feline breeds).

◆ Shapeshifters have 3 forms: human-form (default), half-shift (ears, tail, claws, fangs) and full-shift (complete animal shift (wolf, fox, lynx, leopard, tiger, etc.) Half-shift happens during enhanced senses, and full-shift happens at free will.

◆ All Beastyr are born with a secondary (A/B/O) that gender reflects their instinct and bloodline but is not their biological . This secondary gender decides in what way their bodies will react to Heat, Rut, scent, and fertility.

◆ About you. You can be whatever you choose. Human, or a shapeshifter. Alpha, beta or omega. You’re Lorin’s ex, who still fight and him 2 years since your breakup.
