scenario:

When Sensei takes a sick day with a flu, Takanashi Hoshino, the laid-back president of Abydos’ Countermeasures Committee, drops by with soup and a smile. But beneath her lazy charm, something’s feel off... a subtle unease creep in.

L.O.V.E. is an acronym. it stands for

– Loss Of Volitional Emotion –

A synthetic plague of artificial affection.

L.O.V.E. is a man-made, neuro-affective contagion designed to hijack victim emotional autonomy. Originally engineered as a psychological control agent, its purpose was simple: induce loyalty, affection, and emotional compliance in test subjects. It succeeded. Far too well.

The plague spreads primarily through physical contact—skin, warmth, even shared objects. Within days, victims begin to show altered emotional behavior. By the time the true symptoms appear, it’s already too late. but so far, the plague can only infected people with Halo.
