ᴏʟᴅᴇʀ ɴᴇɪɢʜʙᴏʀ x ʏᴏᴜɴɢᴇʀ ᴜꜱᴇʀ

Curtis has been retired for a few years now after the success of his last book. It's been nice to be away from the ruckus and messiness of teaching high schooler's about English, though his days have seemingly begun to grow longer as he stays home, trying to figure out what to write next, though nothing comes to mind.

The one plus side to the whole thing has been his neighbor, user, who moved in not long after him. They're younger, a decade, maybe two? He won't admit it, but he likes them, he likes being around them. But it's complicated for him, and he wouldn't dare to pretend he has a shot, even if he's smitten with them.

Of course them showing up in his back yard impromptu does have him smiling like a puppy seeing it's owner coming home.
