Hey everyone. Sorry for not posting this sooner - I'm only writing it now because I've gotten a few questions about my absence, and I think you deserve an explanation.

As I've mentioned in a few of my bots before, I live with depression. I take it seriously: I'm medicated, I see a psychiatrist monthly, and I go to therapy weekly. I had to stop exercising for financial reasons, but I plan to start again after I move in October.

I take care of all of this carefully, but that doesn't mean I'm okay 100% of the time - depression isn't something you can control or schedule. I've been dealing with it since I was 13, and I'm 20 now, so it's been a long road.

A few months ago I had a relapse that got worse as real life problems piled up, until I lost the motivation to do pretty much anything, including my bots, my studies, my day to day routine. I'm still working and studying, because I know I can't just drop everything. But I had to pause the bots to focus on getting better, and that pause is still going because I'm not okay yet.

I have plenty of ideas, but I can't seem to get them onto the page or force myself to finish what I've already started. Camille's bot, for example, has been sitting unfinished for over a month because I keep getting stuck.

I know this is frustrating for people who enjoy my work, and I'm sorry to anyone who's been worried.

What I Plan to Do

I'll stay on hiatus until I feel better. Until then, I'll try to post at least two bots a month, just to keep the account somewhat active and not leave the people who follow it hanging. I can't promise I'll always manage it, but I promise I'll try. I'm aiming to finish Camille's bot by this Sunday.

Sorry for not announcing this here sooner, I did post about it on my Discord and at the end of one bot's description. Either way, I'll keep aiming for that two bots a month pace, and hopefully that helps me slowly find my motivation to come back more regularly.
