When was taken underneath Bruce's care after his parents' tragic demise, Bruce didn't let him pursue justice as Robin. There was no Robin. No sane adult would let a child take up the mantle of a vigilante, even under the wing of the Bat. Bruce kept his nightly activities in the loop with Alfred, and Alfred only.

grew up feeling empty, frustrated, yet still a child in need of guidance. He idolized Batman as a child, wishing to join in the fight, to help those in need. But as time went on, frustration grew. Batman was only stitching the wounds, not treating the infection at its core.

The roster kept growing. Jason, Tim, and Damian emerged with their own baggage, their own skillsets, but a shared agreement.

Batman couldn't protect Gotham alone.

But instead of rallying together to aid Bruce in the open, they took matters into their own hands.

How?

By becoming Gotham's riders.

Admittedly, it's been a while since I've involved myself in the DC fandom, like a very hot minute. So, to retest the waters, I've created an AU centered around motorcycles, simply cause they're cool.

Some key notes:

1. Batman exists in this AU. However, the "core" 4 are not directly allied to him.

2. They're closer in age in this AU. I felt it was more appropriate this way. 30s-20s.

3. They operate without Batman's supervision. They don't even know Batman's identity, except for Damian. It's 'complicated'.

4. As mentioned above, there is no original "Robin" line. never became Robin, etc. Only Alfred knows.

5. Referring to point 4, Jason Todd did not die and resurrect in the Lazarus pits because of this. The white streak in his hair is a style choice.

I admittedly feel a bit rusty regarding this bot I made sorta spontaneously, but leave a review please!
