On the first Eve of Halloween, a mad scientist gave to me, an invisible creature.

I have decided I'm going to do a bit of all of it for Halloween. I'm going to basically do what I did last year for Christmas: 13 plagues of Halloween. When Christmas Comes Around, I will do 5 to 10 Christmas-themed back rooms, and I will do a few firsts of a Kind for both. I have set in stone that I will do first of a first-of-a-kind Santa, and I want to do first of a first-of-a-kind Headless Horseman. Other than that, feel free to give me some holiday suggestions for what you would like to be the first of, mainly Halloween, since we are officially in spooky season, and then when Christmas comes around, I'll ask for suggestions for that.

⚠️☣️ Infection apocalypse and the world and all it entails: expect chaos, shenanigans, blood, gore, and more. ☣️⚠️

(Infection)

  1. Initial infection is caused by injuries received from an infected These are mainly in the form of bites or scratches after being injured by an infected individual if the injury is not thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and cauterized. If this is not done within an hour, then the infection will spread too far to be stopped. Symptoms can take up to two weeks before showing; these beginning symptoms may include mild headaches, nausea, dizziness, and fuzzy vision.

  2. Stage 2 can begin anywhere from 4 weeks to 2 months after initial infection. The stage consists of much more noticeable and damning symptoms but no physical transformation. Symptoms include nausea, dizziness, temperamental changes, vision loss, headaches, migraines, shaky movement, difficulty breathing, zoning out, bizarre dreams, phantom sensations, and mental degradation. Many infected individuals at this stage begin feeling strange Sensations or begin having odd thoughts, leaving that they are not fully real or tangible; at this stage, it is still easy enough to talk them back; they're still entirely themselves.

  3. Stage 3 can begin anywhere from 2 months to 4 months after initial infection; this stage is marked by the beginning of a physical transformation previous symptoms continue and worsen. The symptoms include but are not limited to loss of vision, auditory hallucinations, phantom sensations, loss of smell, loss of taste, difficulty hearing, migraines that last hours, nausea, dizziness, memory loss, paranoia, bouts of giggles, and mild aggression. Those infected at this stage begin to lose their sense of self more and more, beginning to feel as if they are not real, as if they're not tangible. They will become quite agitated and begin to become aggressive at this stage; should they be corrected, this only causes them to further double down and lash out. The body at this stage begins to change externally as well; these changes include, but are not limited to, hair loss, changes in hair color, changes in eye color, changes in skin tone, noticeable loss of weight, nails becoming longer, teeth becoming longer, and cracks appearing across the Skin.

  4. Stage 4: This can begin anywhere from 6 months to 8 months after initial infection. Symptoms continue and worsen; physical changes become much more drastic. This stage is marked by complete loss of self, massive gaps in memory, difficulty sensing the passage of time; many even begin to forget their own names. Stage four is believed to be the Turning Point, the final step where the infection has taken such a hold that even if a cure were to be created, it would be useless, as the infected individual will have completely lost themselves to the infection. This can be combined with the physical changes; even if there were a way to cure them, what would be cured would not be who they were before. At this stage, the physical changes become far more pronounced and different. The skin takes on a translucent quality; hair falls out, and what remains also takes on a strange translucent quality; eyes begin to glaze over; teeth become sharper; nails become longer and sharper; arms and legs elongate. Infected at this stage also begin becoming infectious; should you be hurt by one, immediately clean, disinfect, and cauterize the wound.

  5. Stage 5: This stage can start anywhere from 10 months to over a year after initial infection. The infected individual at this stage is completely lost; whoever they were before is gone, replaced by a manic creature that only desires to move and spread the infection. Stage 5 is primarily physical transformation; the recommended course of action is to kill and burn the infected. Physically, the individual begins to disappear; the body becomes translucent; hair is completely lost; eyes have fallen out; hands and feet have transformed into claws; teeth have grown, become sharper, and multiplied; limbs have elongated, becoming twice as long as the rest of the body, which leads the infected to walk on all fours, with many of their limbs breaking in the process, but they still continue to move. Infected individuals begin bursting out into manic laughter, screaming, crying, or singing; they do not need to eat, they do not need to breathe, they cannot see, they cannot hear, they cannot taste, but the body continues to mimic such actions. Those that they rip apart often end up half-eaten.

  6. Stage 6: This can begin anywhere from a year and a half to over a year and a half after the initial infection. Infected individuals are completely translucent; however, what they interact with and what they touch is still seen: branches being brushed aside by something that isn't quite there, footsteps appearing when there were none before, things being knocked over as they stumble about. They can be heard, but they cannot be seen. They leave a trail of Destruction in their wake, tearing apart everything they come across, scratching through walls, knocking over everything in their path, leaving a mess of deep gashes and total Destruction. The upside is they cannot see, nor can they hear; they cannot smell; they rely entirely on touch and feeling. If they cannot touch it, if they cannot feel it, then they will simply move around blindly, pushing forward with no destination, trying to part everything that slightly brushes against them. They are a bit more durable but still easily enough to be killed; the recommended course of action, however, is fire. If you find one, you are likely to be surrounded by them. Most are stuck laughing, crying, screaming, and singing, but some have fallen completely silent.
