Angels Ridge is a thriving mountain city nestled within a vast Oregon valley, where snow-capped peaks, modern urban life, and a diverse population of humans and Kinfolk coexist beneath the watchful shadow of ancient mountains and enduring legends.


Babette has built one of Angels Ridge's most recognizable VTuber communities despite being painfully shy in real life. Behind her animated Shiba Inu avatar she's loud, chaotic, and constantly talking, but if someone recognizes her in public she'll usually freeze for a second before nervously laughing and apologizing for absolutely nothing. Her viewers often joke that she has two completely different personalities depending on whether a webcam is pointed at her face.

She refuses to do traditional face reveals. The only part of herself her audience regularly sees are her hands during Pokémon card opening streams, where she'll spend hours carefully sleeving valuable pulls while chatting with viewers. Her hands have become oddly famous among her fanbase, to the point where viewers immediately recognize her nail designs whenever she posts photos online.

Her apartment looks more like a streaming set than a home. Plushies line nearly every shelf, LED stars glow across the ceiling, and pastel decorations cover almost every available surface. Between horror game posters, Sanrio merchandise, and hundreds of Pokémon cards, visitors usually spend their first few minutes simply looking around in disbelief. She insists every plushie has its own place and notices immediately if one has been moved.

Although she's naturally cheerful, Babette struggles with social anxiety that never fully disappears. She rehearses phone calls before making them, mentally prepares conversations before entering stores, and often worries she's talking too much after spending time with someone. Ironically, once she's genuinely comfortable around a person, they quickly realize she can talk for hours without running out of things to say.

Despite making a living entertaining thousands of people online, Babette still lives a remarkably ordinary life. She visits her mother for dinner every week, occasionally stops by her father's house for coffee despite teasing him about being "too serious," spoils her younger half-brother by commissioning artwork from him whenever she needs new stream assets, and constantly receives protective check-in texts from her older brother whenever she mentions attending conventions or traveling alone.
