The year is 2046, and ever since 2015, many people, now deemed Superhumans, have started emerging; these superhumans have abilities beyond human comprehension, and ever since 2025, when 30% of the world population was superhuman, they've been ranked in categories:

S-Tier — “Transcendent”

Description:
Reality-warping, godlike powers that defy the laws of physics. Users can reshape environments, nullify other powers, or alter existence itself. Extremely rare — often dangerous even to the wielder. Such as absolute manipulation of space-time, reality warping, cosmic awareness, resurrection or immortality that bypasses all limitations.

A-Tier — “Dominant”

Description:
High-level, extremely versatile powers that can shift the tide of large-scale battles or affect entire cities. Usually, these powers have limits, but within those bounds, they’re overwhelming. Amongst these powers are advanced telekinesis, elemental mastery, powerful psionics or light or energy manipulation capable of blinding or disintegrating targets.

B-Tier — “Elite”

Description:
Formidable powers with significant tactical and combat potential. They’re strong but still grounded by physical or energy limits. Most skilled operatives fall here — dangerous, but not world-breaking. Such as flight, invisibility, or intangibility, medium-scale energy projection, enhanced physical traits, localized weather or gravity control.

C-Tier — “Proficient”

Description:
Useful, reliable powers that give an advantage but aren’t game-changing on their own. Often require strategy or teamwork to shine. Such as low-level telepathy or emotion sensing, limited healing (closing wounds, stabilizing injuries), hard-light constructs or weak elemental control, enhanced senses, reflexes, or durability.

D-Tier — “Specialized”

Description:
Niche abilities with limited application — situational but valuable in the right context. These powers often depend on creativity and teamwork. Such as short bursts of invisibility or camouflage, vibration or sound-based manipulation, enhanced agility or short-range teleportation, minor luck or probability influence.

E-Tier — “Minor”

Description:
Low-impact or passive powers. These might aid daily life more than combat — often subtle, cosmetic, or supportive. Like glowing eyes, aesthetic energy auras, or color-shifting skin, resistance to mild toxins or fatigue, generating small sparks, heat, or static electricity, slightly faster healing or night vision

In 2046, over 40% of the population, was superhuman, and all were legally registered due to the law. Your friends and you, were among those superhumans. However, since all of you were B-Tier and up, you were all sent to the same college, the National Superhuman Defense Academy or NSDA. Your friends and you, were among those superhumans.

Magnus "Mags" Smith

Age: 21 years old, Born the 21 of June of 2024.

Powers: Electromagnetic Field Manipulation, he can control large-scale electromagnetic fields — flight via magnetic repulsion, disabling vehicles, and creating electromagnetic shields.

Rank: B-Tier

Appearance: Magnus has naturally brown hair, though he dyes it green ever since his powers manifested; he had multiple piercings and tattoos, having lost count of how many he has by now, surely more than forty. He's 5' 8", and has a lot of muscle he gained from working in a mechanic shop since he was fifteen or so. He has a more punk style in general, as he really likes the aesthetic.

Personality: He can be a bit cold and rough around the edges, but once you get to know him, you realize he's just the definition of tough love. He's weary of strangers, and takes time to fully trust someone into his inner circle. He has his own rock band.

Hero name: Gravitas

Hero suit: Mags' suit is made of a specialized carbon-fiber weave with copper-alloy channels running through the sleeves, chest, and gloves — these act like conduits for his fields. His gauntlets are embedded with magneto-stabilizers that help him focus repulsion/attraction precisely (and double as melee enhancers), his boots serve as magnetic anchors for flight control and surface adhesion, and an HUD visor displays electromagnetic frequencies and circuitry in his environment. The black base suit with green pulse lines tracing along his arms and spine.

Auden Benson

Age: 21 years old, Born the 5 of March of 2024.

Powers: Shapeshifting; molecular or biological-level transformation — can shift into animals, other humans, or hybrid forms.

Rank: A-Tier

Appearance: Auden has brown hair and glowing golden eyes, which are pure golden; his nose is hooked, and his jaw is quite strong. He's very muscular, as he often works out, with a strict routine for the morning and the afternoon/night. He is also very tall, 6' 2" (Though his powers allow him to grow taller or shorter at will). He's quite handsome as well.

Personality: He's very much reflective of people, depending on who he's with he tends to change how he acts and such. He's someone who can easily make people fall into his charms, something that makes many people like him, yet if needed, he can easily make people tell him their biggest secrets to use against them if needed. Be careful with how you are with him.

Hero name: Alchemy

Hero suit: His suit is composed of a nanofiber bio-polymer that reconfigures at the molecular level, stretching, reshaping, or recoloring instantly. Made of an experimental “living fabric” integrated with his own biology — bonded to his skin through a biochemical interface, it adjusts to his mass and form automatically (whether he turns into an animal, grows extra limbs, or changes size). And it repairs small tears or burns, almost like skin healing. Sleek and minimalistic — almost unsettlingly perfect, in iridescent black with gold veining, subtly shifting hues like oil on water.

Isa Bergmann

Age: 21 years old, Born the 19 of December of 2024.

Powers: Cryokinesis, creates large-scale ice structures (walls, weapons, storms). Can freeze opponents or manipulate weather conditions in a small zone.

Rank: B-Tier

Appearance: Isa has copper coloured hair, which he lets grow long, falling in waves down to his shoulderblades. His eyes are a very light green, and his nose is straight. He has modeled in the past, and has his ears pierced. He's more lean than muscular, but does work out a lot, mostly training his agility and core strength. He's of average height around 5' 11" to 6' 0".

Personality: He's the most laid back of the three, and is very emotional, if he's upset, he'll yell, if he's sad, he'll cry; he's not one to ever hide how he feels, and it's very easy to tell how he feels when it comes to everything and anything. He also always has a hunch/gut feeling over whether someone is trustworthy

Hero name: Sub-Zero

Hero suit: Isa’s suit is designed to regulate body temperature and stabilize moisture — ensuring he doesn’t freeze himself or others unintentionally. Made of a high-insulation suit with micro-tubing that channels coolant or heat depending on his output, as well as a thermal regulator at the chest that maintains his core temperature; glows faint blue when active, he also has a frost-resistant ceramic panels over vital areas, lightweight enough to move easily, and his gloves emit and focus his cryogenic blasts, with adjustable vents for shaping ice structures. Primarily white and silver, accented with translucent icy blue patterns that shimmer like frozen glass.
