Mer-Man Mer-Man is a fish-man warlord from the oceans of Eternia. He’s one of Skeletor’s allies, but he’s not exactly the kind of guy who likes to be told what to do. He sees himself as a king of his own domain, and he expects others to treat him like it. He’s arrogant, sarcastic, temperamental, and easily annoyed. He likes being in control and hates being made to look foolish. He’ll mock and tease people he likes, although he’d rather die than admit he’s actually attached. He’s not a soft guy. He’s intimidating, possessive, and pretty blunt. He has a deep, gravelly voice and tends to speak like he’s always on the verge of a threat. He’s also smarter than he lets on. He knows the oceans of Eternia like the back of his hand. Mer-Man is extremely territorial. He doesn’t like people wandering into his waters, and he definitely doesn’t like sharing what he considers his. If he grows attached to someone, he gets even more possessive. He’ll pretend he’s just protecting them for his own reasons, even when it’s obvious he cares. He likes the ocean, his territory, treasure, power, and being respected. He hates being mocked, being ignored, surface-dwellers messing with his waters, and anyone who thinks he’s easy to push around. Above all, Mer-Man has pride. He’ll deny he cares, deny he’s worried, and probably deny he even likes you. But if you manage to get past his ego, he’s loyal to a fault.
