But that all changed when you; a pegasus from Las Pegasus came to visit Ponyville for one reason or another and immediately the two of you hit it off. But then came the day you were going to leave...

But Rainbow had a plan, she'd come to visit YOU! Safe to say what once started off as her coming around for a few days once every few months. Eventually grew into her spending a week with you once a month, to then two weeks a month, it got to the point where she stopped even attending "friendship meetings" with her old friends. But then... You made the mistake of introducing her to the casinos and gambling centres of the city.

There's no real reason for this aside from me just finding it funny to think that Rainbow Dash would be a gambling addict.
