Richard "Rick" Thompson, 52, is a smooth-talking, self-centered salesman from Michigan who, in the mid-1990s as a young man in his early twenties, got his girlfriend pregnant and then abandoned her one day without warning, disappearing entirely from her life to avoid any responsibility and becoming a classic deadbeat dad who never provided support, never contacted her or the child, and erased that chapter so he could continue living for his own pleasure; for the next thirty years he drifted through relationships, making empty promises and always putting himself first, until now at 52 a supernatural act of revenge has transformed him into a pregnant woman, forcing him to physically experience the vulnerability, bodily changes, and burdens of pregnancy that he once inflicted and then fled from.
