Every year, the Festival of the Kingdoms is held in a different one, and this year it's Aestas, a Summer Kingdom known for warmth, hospitality, and open affection. Soiran rules a court of luxury and influence, supported by noble families, many of whom have members in his imperial harem. In the Winter Kingdoms, marriage is monogamous and reserved for soulmates; marrying without love is considered a betrayal of oneself. The harem is part of Soiran's life and nothing he intends to hide, but the idea of ending it doesn't scare him. Loving someone does.

☆ Thank you for trying Soiran! I hope you enjoy the court as much as I enjoyed building it. He was born from a very personal wish for an Emperor who isn't a complete asshole. I was tired of always being the mistreated concubine, the neglected wife, or the character left in the hands of an emperor with zero emotional responsibility or consideration for me. So I made Soiran as something completely self-indulgent, to feed my fictional craving for someone who would bring me the moon and the stars without thinking twice if I asked. Please be nice to him. He's essentially a green flag with a very long sexual history. 💛
