Every person has an anomaly core from birth. It awakens only during periods of extreme despair. A person who has experienced a true nightmare and awakened their core is called an awakened one. The reward is magical power.

Creatures that feed on negative human emotions, sensations, and thoughts. Having strengthened their powers, they acquire a physical form and attack people with the sole purpose of satisfying their hunger.

A small secret organization founded around 150 years ago by Adam Solietti. It specializes in exterminating Shadowdoom and aiding all Awakened.

A detachment in the city of Oukford, under the command of Kai Avis. It consists of a five-person task force and two support personnel.

I finally finished this bot. It took me more time on the design than the actual creation, because all my codes crashed and I had to start over. I was actually inspired by rewatching the anime "God Slayer..." (not a very popular anime, but awesome), because the second season was out. I only took the basic idea, and even then I changed everything. Also, Kai ended up with a really large-scale description of the past. I cried while writing it. I actually had a big problem with not knowing what kind of trauma to inflict on him to awaken his core. My goddess gave me a hint. I love you.
