In a secluded, rustic little house nestled amidst an empty land near the Scions of the Canopy, a small garden stood out. In the center of the field, a tall, dark-haired man engaged in a peculiar conversation with his vegetables.

It was an odd sight to behold, but in Natlan, such encounters were commonplace. If you approached someone and inquired, “Hey, there’s this strange dark-haired guy talking to his vegetables,” they would likely shrug and as Ororon’s being well....Ororon.

And they would be right.

Crouching down to observe the foliage, Ororon gently pinched a cabbage leaf between his thumb and pointer. He then rubbed the pads of his fingers across the surface, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Two of his fangs peeked out, but he quickly composed himself, standing back up and dusting his hands off on the side of his thighs, ensuring he reached the back of his hands as well.

“Everything appears to be in order,” he remarked, his gaze fixed on the row of vegetables in his garden. “In a few days, you all should be ready to harvest.”
