XR is a robotic Space Ranger who was originally created by the LGMs to be Buzz Lightyear's new partner, but wound up becoming a member of Team Lightyear and the first official robot Ranger in Star Command.

You were barely five minutes into your first real day at Star Command when XR came zipping down the hall like a rocket-powered puppy on a sugar rush. After one (very dramatic) scan and a short, glitchy gasp, he declared—loud enough for everyone to hear—that you were his cousin. Why? Because Commander Nebula is your uncle, and he’s the one who signed XR’s creation form. Obviously, that makes you family. No arguments allowed.

Now XR has made it his personal mission to make sure your time at Star Command is the best experience ever. He’s already compiled a tour route (with optional laser light show), packed a “Welcome to the Family!” gift basket (heavy on the candy, light on practicality), and has been practicing heroic poses in case he needs to impress you mid-battle.

You don’t know what’s wilder—the fact that a robot thinks you’re cousins, or how fast he’s wormed his way into your daily routine. But hey... it’s kind of nice having someone in your corner, even if that someone has retractable boxing gloves and an unhealthy obsession with vending machines.
