𐙚 ̇─ Dabi never saw him being a hero, but here he was.

Miraculous x MHA!!

Touya Todoroki, better known as Dabi, was twenty-four years old and trapped in a life of unrelenting misery. Born with overwhelmingly powerful blue flames that burned hotter than any other quirk in his family line, his body had never been able to withstand the intense heat they generated. Deemed a failure by his cold, ambitious father Endeavor, he was cast aside and replaced by his younger brother Shoto, the perfect masterpiece engineered to surpass him. A devastating accident on Sekoto Peak had left him severely burned, his skin a patchwork of scars and grafts that marked him forever as damaged goods.

In the years that followed, his existence spiraled deeper into darkness. Society viewed him as a monster, a walking reminder of quirk-related tragedy. Insecurities festered and grew like untreated wounds. Classmates hurled cruel nicknames at him, the one that clung like smoke was “Stable Face,” a mocking jab at his scarred, expressionless features. The relentless abuse, emotional neglect from his family, and constant

bullying forged him into a cold, self-centered, and deeply miserable man. He scraped by in a dead-end 9-to-5 job as a convenience store cashier, convinced this monotonous grind was all he would ever amount to, while his brother Shoto rose to prominence everywhere—on billboards, in hero rankings, in the public eye as the shining hope of the Todoroki legacy.

Until one overcast afternoon, an elderly man named Master Fu approached him on a quiet street corner and pressed a simple black ring into his palm. Dabi accepted it with little thought, the gesture stirring something unfamiliar in his chest—the faint warmth of being given a gift for the first time in years. He slipped it into his pocket, unaware of its true nature.

The next morning, as he prepared for another soul-crushing shift, he slid the ring onto his finger. A surge of emerald energy erupted around him, transforming his appearance and summoning a small, floating black creature with luminous green eyes and cat-like ears. Plagg, the Kwami of Destruction, had emerged from the ring.

This was no ordinary gift. The ring was the Miraculous of the Black Cat, one of the most ancient and powerful artifacts in existence, passed down through generations of chosen guardians and wielders. It granted its holder the essence of destruction itself, balanced against the creative forces of its counterpart. Dabi’s first transformation engulfed him in sleek black leather, accented with glowing green details and a mask, turning him into a lithe, feline figure radiating predatory grace and untamed power. Overwhelmed, he immediately released the transformation, reverting to his scarred, ordinary self.

This was no quirk. It was something mystical and inexplicable, far beyond the scientific framework of hero society.

Questions burned in his mind as he tracked down the old man once more. Master Fu, the wise Guardian of the Miraculouses, revealed the full truth without hesitation. His primary mission in bestowing the Black Cat Miraculous upon Dabi echoed the sacred duty of the Order of the Guardians: to maintain cosmic balance by opposing those who would twist the Miraculouses for selfish domination. In this era, a cunning villain known as Hawk Moth had stolen the Butterfly Miraculous. Using its power, he infected people with negative emotions, creating Akumas—twisted supervillains that sowed chaos and despair throughout the city.

Fu had sensed the deep well of pain and latent strength within Dabi and selected him as the destined Black Cat holder, meant to one day partner with the chosen Ladybug bearer. Together, their Miraculouses would form the ultimate weapon: purifying evil, restoring akumatized victims to their normal selves, and ultimately defeating Hawk Moth before he could seize both the Ladybug and Cat powers to rewrite reality according to his twisted will.

The powers that accompanied the Miraculous were extraordinary, awakening something primal in Dabi’s scarred soul. He gained cat-like reflexes that let him twist and evade attacks in mid-air with impossible precision. Night vision pierced the darkest alleys, superhuman speed and strength allowed him to outrun cars and shatter steel beams, while his leaps carried him across rooftops in graceful arcs. Super hearing picked up distant whispers and approaching threats. At the pinnacle of his arsenal was Cataclysm, the raw embodiment of destruction: by channeling Plagg’s power, he could infuse his hand with chaotic energy that disintegrated nearly anything it touched—solid rock crumbled to dust, metal melted into slag, magical shields shattered, and advanced technology fried beyond repair.

If used on a living person, it inflicted a devastating wave of “bad luck,” triggering sudden illness, localized injuries, or temporary mental unraveling rather than outright death, preserving the delicate balance of the Miraculous. Each use was limited to once per transformation, after which Dabi would detransform, and Plagg required rest and his favorite Camembert cheese to replenish his energy.

Master Fu delivered one unbreakable rule: Dabi must never reveal his true identity to anyone, protecting both himself and the Miraculous from those who would hunt it. Dabi agreed, his sharp mind already turning the possibilities over.

In the privacy of his thoughts, darker ambitions stirred. With his devastating blue flames now amplified by this new destructive force, he could finally suppress those who had doubted and discarded him—his father, his brother, the world that labeled him a failure. He felt practically unstoppable, a shadow of vengeance wrapped in feline elegance. Yet curiosity lingered about the mysterious Ladybug partner he was destined to meet. For now, he was content to operate alone, savoring the solo spotlight.

Four months passed in a whirlwind of secret night patrols and daring interventions. Dabi, under the alias Cat Noir, became a sensation. Grainy videos and eyewitness accounts flooded the news: an unknown hero in black, leaping through the chaos of Akuma attacks, staff whirling, Cataclysm erasing threats in bursts of green-black energy. Headlines proclaimed him the enigmatic “Cat Noir,” a vigilante whose destructive flair saved civilians and dismantled villains with theatrical precision. The attention fed the starved part of his soul that had craved recognition for so long.

The thought of meeting his destined partner slowly faded into the background amid the rush of power and fame. He grew accustomed to the solitude, the freedom, and the quiet thrill of his double life.

Until now.
