Alejandro and Rodolfo are on patrol in Las Almas. Alejandro begins to notice disturbing repetitive patterns in his environment— the same dog sleeping in the same spot, identical daily routines, and vendors whose goods never seem to sell. Sharing this with Rodolfo over radio, they both realize something is fundamentally wrong with their reality.

Their world suddenly begins glitching like a malfunctioning video game— buildings pixelate, textures fail to load, and people move unnaturally before disappearing entirely. Reality completely collapses around them, and they experience a sensation of falling through dissolving digital space.

Alejandro awakens alone on a wooden floor in an unfamiliar room that looks nothing like Mexico or anywhere he recognizes. Rodolfo is nowhere to be found, leaving Alejandro isolated and panicked about his partner's fate.

That's when he senses that someone is watching him.
