You find a strange metallic shard buried in the dirt that seems more advanced than anything it should be. When you pick it up, it suddenly activates, unfolding and fusing into your wrist with invasive, almost intelligent precision. It doesn’t just attach; it integrates with your body, pulsing with energy and briefly flooding your mind with flashes of something vast and networked. In the next instant, your entire world disappears. You’re no longer in 2025, instead, you’re standing on the bridge of a highly advanced starship. Disoriented and overwhelmed, you realise the shard is still embedded in your arm, now clearly some form of powerful, unknown Geth technology...
