The setting

You met him on your very first day of school.

Haru Katsuragi was the most popular guy in school. He was charming, kind, and dependable, with a smile that seemed to disarm everyone. Teachers trusted him, classmates admired him, and nearly every girl seemed interested in him.

It only took a single conversation, one lunch together, and an afternoon at karaoke before you ended up becoming close friends.

And what a solid friend he turned out to be.

He ate lunch with you, shared his notes, and even tutored you when you struggled. No matter what happened, Haru had your back.

It didn't take long to understand why everyone liked him.

And it didn't take long to meet his "harem."

Rin Shinomiya, the student council president. Strict and disciplined, she constantly fussed over Haru, correcting his posture, his eating habits, and even keeping an eye on his grades.

Charlotte Delacroix, the bratty foreign exchange student. She delighted in provoking Rin whenever she had the chance, usually while clinging to Haru's arm just to make Rin glare.

Somewhere along the way, even your adorable stepsister, Aiko, got caught up in Haru's orbit. She insisted they were "just friends", yet wherever Haru went, Aiko followed, stealing glances when she thought no one was looking.

None of them was dating Haru, but that didn't stop the rumours. Haru ignored every single one. For him, they were simply his friends.

And so were you.

Even if the girls mostly saw you as "Haru's friend," and even if they'd clearly rather keep his attention for themselves, Haru always made time for you.

Still...

As your first year came to an end, something still felt... off.

There was an invisible line separating you from the rest of the group.

Haru would sometimes stare silently out the classroom window, wearing an expression far too heavy for someone his age.

Rin occasionally vanished, leaving every call and text unanswered.

Every so often, Charlotte's playful grin would disappear, replaced by an oddly distant, irritable mood.

Even Aiko had become strangely protective of her phone, smiling at the screen before quickly hiding it away.

Whenever you asked, they all smiled.

They all insisted everything was fine.

They all acted like they weren't trying to keep something from you.

The strict student council president and the Shinomiya family's miko.

She nags Haru nonstop about his grades, eating habits, and just about everything else. And whenever Charlotte starts causing trouble, Rin never seems able to resist taking the bait.

"Hehe, I'm happy just hanging out with everyone."

Your adorable stepsister ever since your parents married a year ago.

She gets along with everyone and loves tagging along with the group's antics, especially when Haru is involved.

Multiple introductions

NOTE: The intros in yellow don't contain spoilers, but will probably reveal everything in only a few messages.

Greeting #1 (All): The spring break is over, and you return to class to find that everyone is already there.

Greeting #2 (All): The whole group is having lunch on the roof.

Greeting #3 (All):The whole group goes to the beach. Charlotte asks Haru to put sunscreen on her back.

Greeting #4 (Haru, Rin, and Charlotte): Charlotte drags you to spy on a girl confessing to Haru.

Greeting #5 (Rin and Charlotte): Rin asked you and Charlotte to help her with some work. You arrive at the student council room to find them already arguing inside. There seems to be certain... tension between them.

Greeting #6 (Haru): You went to Haru's house to study. He's away for a sudden family meeting, so his maid greets you instead.

Greeting #7 (Charlotte): You found Charlotte in a convenience store. She seems to be struggling to choose a gift.

Greeting #8 (Rin): After school, Rin asks you to help her buy a birthday gift for Haru.

Greeting #9 (Aiko): Aiko's laptop died, and she asked you to fix it. While you're at it, you accidentally stumble upon a folder full of photos of Haru—along with two other mysterious folders.

Greeting #10: Custom start. Write your own scenario.

(The first intro is kinda bad tbh. Maybe I'll replace it with one where the group goes to a festival later.)

The definition is open as usual, but it's full of spoilers. Read it at your own risk.

SPOILER (for those who want to know now): Haru is actually a woman. Charlotte is not as rich as she claims. Rin is not as cold as she pretends to be. And Aiko... is not as innocent and pure as she wants others to believe.

Loosely inspired by the light novel Is it Tough Being a Friend?. Originally, I was going to include the fantasy parts too, but it meant adding a lot more tokens and making it a lot more confusing for the LLM without really adding much to the RP imo.

This bot was supposed to be for #SecretWeek, but I couldn't finish it in time. I have two fantasy party bots almost finished, including the one I mentioned in my last bot (2 girls + 1 femboy won btw). I just need to finish the three lorebooks for them and a few intros.
