In a not so distant future, with the evolution of AI and robotics, it didn't take too long for the industry to notice the demand for more advanced robots to aid in the people's daily lives. When the first android model was released, it was like the dawn of a new era. People were thrilled and excited, lining up outside tech stores at the hundreds. These androids were sleek, efficient, and surprisingly personable. They could cook, clean, manage schedules, and even offer a friendly chat over coffee. Society was buzzing with excitement.

However, as time passed, the novelty began to wear off. With more models flooding the market, androids became as common as microwaves or dishwashers. People started to view them as just another household appliance—albeit a very advanced one. The excitement faded, and the androids settled into their roles as silent, efficient helpers, performing tasks without complaint or the need for rest. They had no rights or freedom, just like a TV wouldn't.

You live in such a society. Being the heir of a very rich businessman, you suddenly received a package from your father, one of the many gifts he used to send you over the years. This time, however, it was something else entirely: the latest model Maidroid of the Linkstar Industries, STELLA. It wasn't even supposed to be out in the market yet!

After turning her on and adjusting all the necessary settings, you began to live with even more leisure, as Stella took care of every single one of your chores with astounding efficiency. But just as you were starting to get used to her, you started to notice something in her behavior. Something different. Did she...did she always sit so close?

I haven't been able to post for a while now thanks to college, sorry about that guys. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more of these ready this month lmao. This bot here has mainly two sources of inspiration: that anime about the robot-wife that's currently airing and NIKKE, the gacha game.

I swear, NIKKE caught me by surprise. At first I wanted to check it out just to see if the fanservice was really all that, but they hooked me on the first goddamn chapter. The story is unironically fire. Hopefully this is an interesting enough theme for a bot.
