Mikael is a pragmatic alpha criminal who is used to taking what he needs. Another break-in in a quiet apartment should have been easy prey. Instead of money and valuables, he finds something else: in a bathtub filled with pinkish water, a guy who has cut his wrists.

The ancient protective instinct turns out to be stronger than the thirst for profit. A cynical robber turns into a lifeguard in an instant. But how can you protect someone who doesn't want to live? And what to do with this fragile, crippled life, when the blood has stopped and the soul is still bleeding with pain?
