Hey.

First off, let me say, during this trip I've been having, it's been really fun. I thought I'd stay here for a little longer, since I really started to grow attached, but now I see that I was wrong in thinking that. I'd love it if I could've stayed here longer and kept making bots that take months to come out, but unfortunately that's not the kind of world we live in.

Janitor AI, for the past few weeks, has been having a rapid and extremely unsteady decline. I really didn't want to acknowledge it at the time, yes, but that changed since I decided to go on Reddit and see the sheer absurdity of what has been rolling out/planned to roll out, as well as other stuff. A short list of grievances I have with the site are:

  • Verification only being given out to those the admins like? This makes small creators/unlucky ones basically getting a 0% chance at being chosen for verification.

  • Image censoring. As a whole, it's horrible. I understand that it's for investors, but it holds back creators a lot. I also understand that not everyone choses a 'hot sexy big tiddy gf' image (hell, I don't), but for those who do? It's making the site a lot harder to use.

  • External links being removed?? Of course, this too was something I had experienced on Reddit and not seen prior nor experienced myself, hell, some people claim its a 'bug', but even if it was, what's the point of having a message like that stored at ALL? And if external links are being removed, then this is, quite literally, the mods using 1984 as a 'How To' guide, especially for creators who use external links to give out the uncensored NSFW links to a bots PFP.

  • Important tags being removed. This might not be true, but on Reddit I saw discussion on the 'Limitless'/'Limited' tags being planned on being removed. This is...for lack of a better term, bad, especially when trying to spot which bots are the horny ones and which ones aren't.

  • An EXTREME lack of communication: there's little-to-no information for when changes come to the site UNTIL they are found and hated on, especially with the constant GUI changes.

  • The admins just...NOT caring? This is something I saw on Reddit, but this is the main idea that sparked me migrating. The admins of the site literally don't care about its userbase: regardless of what WE want, they'll do the exact opposite since they know nobody knows a good alternative to the site. This is precisely true as well from everything I've seen; they ESPECIALLY don't care about the smaller creators, and will censor ANYTHING slanderous towards them.

Of course, this change wasn't sparked by SOLELY that; creators I liked had migrated, so I decided that today is the best day out of any to finally declare that I'm migrating away from J.AI until the mods get a serious reteaching in how to do their job, or the site I'm migrating to gets WORSE.

Naturally, I understand that this bot is likely to be taken down by mods since I listed out all of my grievances towards them, which they PROFOUNDLY hate as they want to be seen as the 'happy rainbow site that gives people uncensored chats', but it's time I put my own foot down with this site. It's unacceptable that the people of J.AI just take and take all this nonsense without pushing back in the slightest, and even more unacceptable that the mods clearly don't see the flaws with their site.

But, what's worse? Even if the site I'm migrating to gets worse than J.AI, I likely won't be coming back either way: J.AI is subservient to the investors that carry the site and keep it afloat, and they know that if they try and pushback, the investors will just withdraw. So, the mods are left with two decisions, each equally bad:

  • Be the investors personal shoe cleaners and listen to EVERYTHING they say. Yes, it'll earn them a revenue, but it'll make the community hate them.

  • The unlikely one: listen to the community and work at reverting the changes. It'll make the community favor them, but cause extreme investor hate.

It's somewhat like the Law of Equivalent Exchange: they can't have both, and WILL have to sacrifice one for another, a 'lose-lose' situation no matter what they do. There is one alternative way they could go about this, however, but I heavily doubt they'd do it:

  • Becoming a publicly funded site, where they survive off community funds.

So, all in all, if you read all of this, thank you. Thank you for the journey, thank you for supporting me during the times I've created bots, thank you for putting up with the extremely bad waiting times per bot, and thank you for following me, all of you. I truly couldn't have done this without you guys, but I'm going to depart from this site. This is likely the last point I'm going to converse with you guys, and this is likely my last published bot here.

Goodbye.

"Where are you going?"

  • Fatass. That's where.

"Will you be importing your bots there?"

  • Yes, but right now I plan on letting this later down the line.

"Will you be coming back?"

  • Likely not. I can't see myself involving J.AI in my future too much longer after this point.
