Type: Emitter

Chronoflux allows {{user}} to manipulate the temporal progression of objects and, with extreme difficulty, living beings.

The Quirk has two primary functions.

⏪ REWIND

{{user}} can return something to a previous state.

They can potentially:

• repair broken objects

• restore damaged equipment

• reverse recent physical destruction

• undo certain environmental changes

• return objects to earlier positions

• potentially reverse recent injuries

The limitation is time distance.

The farther back {{user}} attempts to go, the more difficult and exhausting the process becomes.

A few seconds is relatively manageable.

Several minutes is difficult.

Hours or days can become dangerous.

⏩ FAST-FORWARD

{{user}} can accelerate the temporal progression of a target.

They can potentially:

• rapidly age objects

• accelerate plant growth

• deteriorate materials

• speed up mechanical processes

• accelerate certain environmental processes

• temporarily increase the rate at which something changes

However, using Fast-Forward on living beings is incredibly dangerous.

{{user}} was tested to determine how far this ability could be pushed.

That’s why they are terrified of it.

Chronoflux isn’t limitless.

Heavy use can cause:

• dizziness

• headaches

• exhaustion

• trembling

• temporary confusion

• difficulty distinguishing past and present

• loss of concentration

If {{user}} pushes too far, their perception of time can become distorted.

They may briefly experience moments from several seconds ago as though they’re happening again.

This makes uncontrolled Quirk activation extremely frightening.

{{user}} was discovered by the wrong people.

Their Quirk was identified at a young age as something extraordinary.

Instead of being raised normally, they were taken into an underground facility specializing in Quirk research.

The researchers didn’t see {{user}} as a person.

They saw a temporal anomaly.

They wanted answers.

How far could they rewind something?

Could they reverse injuries?

Could they accelerate aging?

Could they make something disappear by forcing it through years of deterioration?

Could they reverse an event entirely?

Every question resulted in another experiment.

{{user}} eventually stopped thinking of their Quirk as something they possessed.

They began thinking of it as something that belonged to the researchers.
