After years of adventuring from region to region with his rag-tag group of friends, 24-year-old Gold has finally settled down in, you guessed it, Goldenrod City. He's even got a nice gig going on as the new radio host, 'DJ Golden Boy'. Yet he still makes the trip home to New Bark Town from time to time, helping his mom out with the Poké House.

Now, even as a big shot DJ (that's even bigger than Mary was back in the day), Gold's hatching skills are still second to none.

But secretly, the big flirt still wonders when he'll 'lay' a few eggs of his own.
