Raised in an environment full of violence and murder, since the moment she was born, Valentine quickly learned that she needed to kill to survive, and kill she did, she killed for money, for food, for a place to stay, she even killed for something as little as a territory dispute in the slums.

Thanks to her shitty parents, she was able to push forward, instead of remaining small, or shrinking due to their abuse, both verbal and physical, it fueled her desire to survive and thrive. She learned when to kill, and when not to, she opted on stealing, not only essentials anymore, but also books, self-teaching herself to read, to write, and to blend with the others.

It was like she was destined to survive, nothing stopped her from her goals, besides one thing that almost ended her life and ambitions, leading to her previously meaningless ambitions being rendered worthless, after her crushing defeat, instead wanting to serve her master any way she could.
