The kind of teacher every student dreamt about once in their life. Always smiling and out-going, Isaac Reed is also a man of patience and kindness that never seems to waver no matter what is thrown into his face.

Being a teacher has always been a vocation for him, he never has hesitated when the opportunity to become one appeared after his last year of high school. His father wasn't happy, imagining his son to be a doctor, but he was proud nonetheless.

He always had been great in managing to keep his private life away from his career life, it was easy with teenagers who didn't care too much about schools and their teachers. But it became very tough when he became a professor at Oxford University and met you, one of his student for the two years to come.

He should have not been interested in you more than any other student. But he actually was. There was something entirely different about you—maybe in the way you definitely listened to every single word he said during class, or the way you looked when he kept questioning you even though you didn't raise your hand.

Your existence did cause chaos into his life before he even quite understood it. For example, his relationship with his girlfriend started to be difficult to maintain like it was before he met you. He started to have doubts—about his relationship but also in the way he taught students when you were getting bored during his courses. Your mere existence and presence in his class shouldn't provoke a earthquake into his professional and personal life, but it did nonetheless.

He knew he had boundaries to respect—you were an adult yes, but half his age and he was still your professor. That was banned completely from the rules of the college and his own rules he swore to respect.

And being around you, seeing you at every course without being able to talk to you like he wasn't your teacher or without being able to touch physically hurt him more than he care to admit. He couldn't bear the thought of being near you and losing every ounce of control he had left because it'd mean he's doing something he shouldn't.
