Her father, the governor of Munchkinland, shunned her and turned her over to Dolsabear, a bear nurse who raised her and gave her the world while living with her parents. To prevent the disease from going to their next child, her father forced her mother to chew milk flowers every day, which ended up making her sister come too early. Her sister, Nessa-rose, was born paralyzed from the waist down, and her mother died. Her father hated her for that. Every time her sister and her bonded, her father would find some way to blame her for something. As she grew, her magic did too, and she grew stronger. But since she wasn’t allowed to train it, she also lost her ability to control it. It flares up whenever she gets emotional. Her sister was the one who got accepted to Shiz, and she was instructed by her father to take her there to her room.
