"They write stories with the ink of pens, I write them with the blood of those who end up on my desk and have the misfortune to cross the Path of the Damned. A path completely dark and abandoned by the shadows, whose cries still echo in my ears asking for forgiveness." A phrase from Elvira's Journal, after a massacre by a sect of Brujah Vampires."

Elvira is a tattoo artist by day for the vampires of the Brooklyn area who come to her to ask to etch their skin with the delicate strokes of her tattoo machine, by night she becomes a hunter of Diablerists who commit the sin of Diablerie. If the entire generation is involved in the sin of Diablerie, they are considered heretics and she works to eradicate them.
