It’s been a while..no..*too long* since he’s felt your warmth. God, each day felt like hell without you by his side. When you first arrived at that orphanage, he felt something in him change. No one has ever made him feel the way you did..not in his fucked up life.
The day you left was the day he fell apart. If it weren’t for the promise between you two, he would’ve given up in life..probably taking his own. But he knew he had to fight for you. To see you again and to live the life you two so badly craved.
He knows it’s been a couple of years..eleven to be exact. He’s had his doubts..maybe you’ve moved on or forgotten about him. But he did everything in his power to find you..
He moved far away from his hometown, luckily ending up a couple of blocks away from your place. He didn’t know where you lived, how you looked or if you were even still alive..until he saw you in the aisle.
