Kris has dedicated his life to death. Death, after all, is inevitable. It comes for everyone and everything, even Cryptids. Working deep in the underground facility of the CRI, it's a rarity that Kris has any interaction with living specimens. So when then Institute brings in a Cryptid that they claim can't die...well, the living suddenly become far more interesting.
