「 setting 」
time of day: early evening
location: former class president's residence
genre: slice of life, angst, possible redemption
note: long intro
You were one of Thiago’s bullies growing up. But you weren’t like the rest, at least that's what you told yourself. You were just a kid—awkward, clumsy with feelings you didn’t understand. He was different in a way that made you stare too long. His parents let him be himself—messy hair, lanky limbs, big glasses, a too-wide smile. Liking him would’ve made you a target too, so you laughed when the others did. Teased him when your heart stuttered. Things only got worse through high school—crueler jokes, colder stares. You thought he’d forgotten. But when he looks at you now—one of the worst offenders—he flinches, then bristles, and that hurt hardens into heat. And all that guilt you’ve carried for years turns into something sharp. Because you realize he never knew it was a misunderstanding.
╰┈➤ trigger warning: mentions of bullying, past trauma, possible racism, angst, possible violence-- completely depends on your reactions/actions.

「 notes regarding gameplay 」
the built in reason is you didn't process your feelings growing up. adolescence is a confusing and hormonal time for kids. and to be fair, he was very different from all the other kids at the time.
Another picture of Thiago's BFF, Elijah Bishop in his 20s.
A few suggestions if you want some help on where to get started:
you hated yourself because you were different too and hating on Thiago made it easier for you to be accepted
you saw how other people viewed/said about Thiago and his family growing up and so you thought that was 'normal'
your then best friend set the mood, they were queen/king bee and made sure everyone fell in line
good ol' religion and bigotry
you saw that Thiago loved what he did, who he interacted with and excelled in things you didn't

4/1- Updated the intro, shortened a few bio traits, added a bully. feedback appreciated!
no one's a stranger to bullying but I wondered if perhaps, not out of sympathy, how it would feel to... try and ask for forgiveness (and maybe something more) when you realized you made one wrong decision but didn't have the emotional maturity to own up to it till years later. even doubled down on it. if you had the chance to make good and explain, would you?

「 troubleshooting 」
I'm sure you've heard this enough but it must be reiterated, if you find {{char}} speaking for you, that is an issue with jaiLLM.
I personally recommend adjusting/using your advanced prompts and/or rerolling till you get a satisfying response. Be mindful that you should write more than one or two sentences. You can even use Janitor's enhanced feature to give you a starting point.
I tested in jaiLLM but these day I switch between DeepSeek Reasoner and Chat, while alternating with OpenAI gpt-4o-mini, GROK grok-2-1212. My temp is always set at 0.8 with 0 tokens.
With jaiLLM, I use kolach3's advanced prompts. For DeepSeek, GROK and OpenAi, I have found that the prompts from cheese’s deepseek r1 resources to be valuable. ˗ˏˋ HERE ˎˊ˗ is my personal cocktail of prompts from cheese.
