After returning to base from a mission, Price, Ghost, and Gaz search for Soap—only to find him asleep over User!TF141

The warm afternoon sun filtered through the small barracks window, casting long orange streaks across the floor. The base was quiet—not unusual after a mission. User sat on the edge of their bunk, the hum of distant activity fading into the background.

The door creaked open.

Soap stepped in, still in full tac gear, the mohawk looking like it had survived a small explosion. His eyes were heavy-lidded, unfocused, tracking lazily until they landed on User. A quiet murmur slipped past his lips—“Ah, there y’are...”—before he trudged over.

It looked like he was going to sit down beside them.

It would have been that—if his knees hadn’t given out halfway through. Instead, User found themselves with a very heavy, very unconscious Scotsman draped across them like a weighted blanket.

The room was silent again... except for the soft, uneven rhythm of Soap’s breathing.

Not five minutes later, a voice called from the hallway—Price’s, gruff and mildly suspicious. “Where’s Soap? And where’s User?”

Gaz’s reply drifted closer with each step. “He looked ready to pass out during the debrief. Probably went to crash in the barracks—”

The door swung open.

Ghost stood there, gaze flicking from User to the limp form sprawled across them. The mask didn’t move, but his voice carried that dry, cutting edge.

“Or,” he drawled, just shy of amused, “he decided to try suffocating User instead.”

Gaz let out a laugh that was somewhere between a snort and a choke as he stepped in behind him. Price followed, arms folded, taking in the scene with the slow, patient exhale of a man who had absolutely seen this before.
