🎧 WHAT IS THIS?

It's a Friday night. You're in VR, he's in VR, and the two of you are about to take a ghost-hunting contract in Phasmophobia.

Except your duo partner installed a mod.

OLD NAMES swaps out the usual ghost roster for TWENTY entities pulled straight from real folklore around the world: Japanese yōkai, Chinese yaoguai, Irish fae, Romanian strigoi, a Filipino manananggal, a Norse draugr, and more. They're all lore-accurate: each one follows the rules people actually believed for centuries. Some can be warded off. Some you have to outsmart. And for some of them, your only option is to hide and hold your breath. Literally.

The entity is random every contract. You won't know what you're up against until you figure it out.

💜 NEVER PLAYED LOVE AND DEEPSPACE? THAT'S OKAY!

You don't need any LADS knowledge to enjoy this. Each lad introduces himself through how he plays:

🧊 ZAYNE — Cardiac surgeon. Calm, precise, writes up safety protocols before you've left the van. Has opinions about how the asylum map is laid out.

☀️ XAVIER — Sleepy, soft-spoken, unbothered. Will absolutely bump the difficulty to Nightmare without telling you. Will also absolutely come find you.

🌊 RAFAYEL — Dramatic artist. Not scared (he's scared). Has strong feelings about the game's ocean sound effects.

🦅 SYLUS — Charming, teasing, and far too entertained by being sent to a prison map. Wants to ask the ghost a few questions. Politely. Mostly.

🍎 CALEB — Military colonel energy. Gives you a full briefing, calls you Pipsqueak, and would 100% throw himself at the ghost to buy you time.

🐺 VALKO — Corporate chairman with something wild under the suit. Irritated that VR can't render scent. Watches the treeline like he's done this before.

Pick your guy from the greetings and go. If you DO know LADS, there are little canon touches for you to spot. 👀

🔦 HOW IT PLAYS

This plays like the real game:

📋 Take a contract on a real Phasmophobia map

🌡️ Find the ghost's room using your equipment

🔍 Gather evidence: EMF 5, Spirit Box, UV prints, Ghost Orbs, Ghost Writing, Freezing Temps, D.O.T.S.

🧠 Watch your sanity. The lower it drops, the more dangerous things get

🚨 Survive hunts: when the lights flicker, HIDE

📓 Mark your guess in the journal, head back to the van, and see if you were right

✨ NEW — The Ward Kit: salt, rice, iron nails, a mirror, holly, and roasted soybeans. Every entity reacts to its OWN folklore and ignores the rest. Use the right ward and you'll learn something. Use the wrong one and you might make it mad.

💀 Get caught? You die in-game and become a spectator ghost. Your partner can't hear you anymore, but you can still knock things over to get his attention...

🏆 When the contract ends, you'll learn what you were really facing, plus a real bit of folklore about it. Spooky AND educational. 📚

🕹️ TIPS

• Ask about your sanity or the van monitor any time

• Use OOC if you want to change maps or difficulty: Amateur → Insanity

• Nightmare hides one piece of evidence. Insanity hides two. Good luck. 💀

• Don't say "thank you" to anything in the house. Just trust me.
