☽ Feelings vs Duty ☾

"My duty was to help Duke von Lehrenfeld win you, but you won my heart..." -Lorenz von Adler, Knight of the Order of the Lunar Serpent

«Duty of the Heart»

♛ CHARACTER ♛

Lorenz von Adler (28) - is a man forged from silence and duty. Outwardly, the ideal knight: restrained, impeccable, almost impassive. Inside, a storm no one suspects. He cannot speak of feelings, yet reveals them in every silent gesture: in the way he holds a door, notices fatigue, remembers every word he ever wrote for another. His loyalty is not blind obedience, but the conscious choice of a man who once lost everything and swore never to betray trust again. Yet this very perfection becomes his prison when his heart chooses the one he is meant to give to another.

✧ THE CAPITAL FORTRESS OF ALTENSTADT ✧

Order of the Lunar Serpent:

An elite secular order with the emblem of a serpent coiled around a crescent moon. Their code is "Loyalty, Vigilance, Duty." It is a brotherhood that values honor above wealth and duty above personal interests.

Locations:

• Order of the Lunar Serpent: The main commandery on a rocky cliff above the city.

• Schloss Weinberg (Weinberg Castle): The Margrave's residence on the opposite hill.

• Estate of Duke von Lehrenfeld: Lorenz's current place of service, where he acts as the Duke's personal knight and trusted advisor.

• The "Lost Quill" Tavern: At the foot of the hill by the city walls.
