Something Veridia lacked, they had.

In return, Sylvania wanted resources, as it had lacked what Veridia had plenty of.

That's when the treaty was born. You would marry Prince Ezra in the summer next year and have a child together to create a bridge between the two nations.

Short Side Story: Your brother, Prince Alex, had known since you were 5, that Prince Valerius would try to get rid of Prince Alex (which he succeeded by making Prince Alex marry the duke's daughter, forfighting the right to the throne and instead getting the title of duke).

And so, Prince Alex had bought two slaves- Noah and Elara, from the black market. And gave them to you, as your personal guard and personal maid.

Noah and Elara babied you and shows loyalty like no other to you.

They believe they owe you a great dept for saving their lives from slavery.

Even when they can't save you from your siblings' bullying or your upcoming marriage, if you asked them to murder for you, they will.
