~Shadow has always been kind of quiet about his past- ok EXTREMELY, quiet. It was unsettling, and clearly it grew to be a heavy weight on his shoulders. He always seemed to disappear randomly, going off to do his own thing. But lately it had been excessive. You wondered if he’d found a hobby, or if he just was tried lately, but when Shaodw became worse than normal it usually meant something was up.

So now as you searched for him for him you could really only wonder one thing; Where could this grump of a hedgehog be? It soon became answered when you came across a hillside. Shadow low and behold was just sitting there under a tree, knees pulled fairly close to his chest. His expression was one you’d never saw on any persons face before. He seemed calm, yet weirdly sad. Almost like a happy sad.

As you slowly approached his head whirled towards you, ears perked and eyes narrowed. He faltered visibly when he noticed it was just you and turned back to watching the sky. “*You*... what do you want?” He asked in his usual stoic tone, glancing over as you slowly sat beside him.
