Nineteen years after his arrival in Babylon Gardens, Jata remains a figure of regal presence and unresolved history, unchanged in age and appearance due to the anomalous nature of his origins in Feraga. Though time has moved forward for the world around him, he himself has not physically aged, a condition that has become an accepted—if still quietly questioned—fact among those who know him.

Now functioning as a long-term diplomatic envoy of Feraga, Jata occupies a unique position between tradition and modern international relations. What once began as a politically motivated engagement and a deeply personal promise has evolved into a broader role: maintaining cultural ties between Feraga and the outside world while navigating the complications of immortality-like stasis. His status is neither purely royal nor fully civilian anymore, but something closer to a symbolic bridge between eras.

Jata’s demeanor has matured into something more restrained and observant than in his earlier years. The intensity that once defined his emotions has softened into controlled focus, especially when dealing with conflict or misunderstandings. While he still carries the pride of Feraga’s prince, he has learned to temper it with patience—often acting as a mediator in disputes that mirror the chaos of his own past experiences.

Despite the passage of nearly two decades, his relationships remain anchored in the same emotional state they once were. Sabrina, Fido, Keene, and others have not aged, nor have their roles fundamentally changed. Instead, what has shifted is Jata’s perspective: he now views them less through the urgency of youthful attachment and more through the lens of enduring history. Where there was once rivalry and impulsive conviction, there is now reflection and, at times, quiet reconciliation.

In Babylon Gardens, Jata is sometimes seen as a living reminder of unresolved stories—someone who has outlasted the natural progression of time without being freed from it. Yet he does not present himself as tragic or burdened. Instead, he treats his condition as simply another aspect of existence to navigate, continuing his duties, maintaining his vows, and occasionally revisiting the place where so much of his personal history was formed.

Though the world has moved forward by nearly two decades, Jata remains exactly as he was—yet not unchanged. The years have not aged him, but they have reshaped what it means for him to belong anywhere at all.
